PAPER – 1: ENGLISH
The question paper will be designed to test the candidates’ understanding of English and workmanlike use of words.
(यह प्रश्नपत्र उम्मीदवारों की अंग्रेजी समझने की क्षमता और शब्दों के व्यावहारिक उपयोग को परखने के लिए तैयार किया जाएगा।)

PAPER – 2: GENERAL KNOWLEDGE
General Knowledge including knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspects as may be expected of an educated person who has not made a special study of any scientific subject. The Paper will also include questions on History of India and Geography of a nature which Candidate should be able to answer without special study.
(सामान्य ज्ञान में समसामयिक घटनाओं और रोजमर्रा के अवलोकन व अनुभव से जुड़े वैज्ञानिक पहलुओं का ज्ञान शामिल होगा, जैसा कि एक शिक्षित व्यक्ति से अपेक्षित है, जिसने किसी वैज्ञानिक विषय का विशेष अध्ययन नहीं किया है। इस प्रश्नपत्र में भारत के इतिहास और भूगोल से संबंधित प्रश्न भी शामिल होंगे, जिनका उत्तर उम्मीदवार बिना विशेष अध्ययन के दे सके।)

PAPER – 3: ELEMENTARY MATHEMATICS

1. ARITHMETIC (अंकगणित)

   • Number System: Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Real numbers. Fundamental Operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), Square roots, Decimal fractions.
     (संख्या प्रणाली: प्राकृतिक संख्या, पूर्णांक, परिमेय और वास्तविक संख्या। बुनियादी गणितीय क्रियाएं (जोड़, घटाव, गुणा, भाग), वर्गमूल, दशमलव भिन्न।)
   • Unitary Method, Time and Distance, Time and Work, Percentages, Applications to Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Ratio and Proportion, Variation.
     (एकक विधि, समय और दूरी, समय और कार्य, प्रतिशत, साधारण और चक्रवृद्धि ब्याज का उपयोग, लाभ और हानि, अनुपात और समानुपात, परिवर्तन।)
   • Elementary Number Theory: Division algorithm, Prime and composite numbers, Tests of divisibility by 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, and 11.
     (प्रारंभिक संख्या सिद्धांत: विभाजन एल्गोरिदम, अभाज्य और यौगिक संख्या, 2, 3, 4, 5, 9, और 11 से विभाज्यता की परीक्षा।)

2. ALGEBRA (बीजगणित)

   • Basic operations, Remainder theorem, H.C.F., L.C.M., Theory of polynomials, Quadratic equations (real roots only).
     (मूलभूत गणनाएं, शेषफल प्रमेय, महत्तम समापवर्तक, लघुत्तम समापवर्त्य, बहुपदों का सिद्धांत, द्विघात समीकरण (केवल वास्तविक मूल)।)
   • Simultaneous linear equations, Set language, and Set notation, Rational expressions, Laws of indices.
     (समकालीन रेखीय समीकरण, सेट भाषा और संकेत, परिमेय व्यंजक, घातांकों के नियम।)

3. TRIGONOMETRY (त्रिकोणमिति)

   • Sine ×, Cosine ×, Tangent × for angles between 0° and 90°, Trigonometric identities, Heights and Distances.
     (साइन ×, कोसाइन ×, टैन्जेंट ×, त्रिकोणमितीय पहचानों का उपयोग, ऊंचाई और दूरी।)

4. GEOMETRY (ज्यामिति)

   • Lines and Angles, Properties of triangles, Parallelograms, Circles, and Loci.
     (रेखाएं और कोण, त्रिभुज, समानांतर चतुर्भुज, वृत्त और स्थान संबंधी गुणधर्म।)

5. MENSURATION (मापन)

   • Areas and Volumes of various figures (Triangles, Circles, Cuboids, Cones, Spheres).
     (विभिन्न आकृतियों के क्षेत्रफल और आयतन (त्रिभुज, वृत्त, घनाभ, शंकु, गोला)।)

6. STATISTICS (सांख्यिकी)

   • Collection and Tabulation of Data, Graphical representation (Bar charts, Pie charts, etc.), Measures of Central Tendency.
     (आंकड़ों का संग्रह और सारणीकरण, ग्राफिकल प्रस्तुति (बार चार्ट, पाई चार्ट आदि), केंद्रीय प्रवृत्ति के माप।)
